It's a better place to be!

Commodores Cruise 2003.........

This was the first commodores I been on and I must say that I thought it was a cracker!
19 boats set off down the Anderton Lift and we spent a few days on the Weaver Navigation. It was the first time I had taken Rosie on the Weaver and it was great fun having all that deep water to play with.
We then made the short journey from Marsh Lock to Ellesmere Port via the Manchester Ship Canal. A very interesting if somewhat damp journey.
A few boats had a day or two in Chester which was a grea place to moor up.
Every one then slowly but surely headed down the Shroppie before eventually heading down the Middlewich Arm back to the Trent & Mersey and back to Lymm.

An excellent "ring" I thought and very well organised by our Commodore, Bill.
